A Lifetime of Cherished Memories
Established in 1927, the Sweetwater Casino was well known across South Jersey for its riverside dining, banquet facility and of course, its cheese! In its day, the Sweetwater Casino was the sight of many wonderful weddings, graduation parties and other celebrations. Many folks still return to the property with fond memories of the special times they had there.
Beginning in 2016, a whole new batch of memories have been made at what is now called Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck. People love to visit The Riverdeck to relax with family, spend time with friends and dance the night away with the many local bands that perform there.
In 2020, you will have a chance to become part of the legacy at the brand new Sweetwater Marina & Riverdeck by buying a legacy brick!
Become Part Of The Legacy
When we think of Sweetwater, we think of a lifetime of cherished memories and now you have the opportunity to become a permanent part of the legacy. Whether you decide to purchase a brick to mark a celebration, commemorate a special event, memorialize a loved one or just leave a lasting mark at the bar, we all have a story to tell at Sweetwater. Now is your chance to become part of a select group who “helped rebuild” Sweetwater Marina & Riverdeck today!
How It Works
You will have the choice of three different size bricks. You may order your brick with text-only engraving, or you may choose to have text and clip art engraved into your brick. Each brick will be permanently displayed in our walkway leading from the parking lot to the river. You will also be given the option to order a commemorative replica of your brick to keep for yourself or to give as a gift. Etch your name into history at Sweetwater Marina & Riverdeck!

What Story Will You Tell?
The Bridel Family has made so many wonderful memories at the Sweetwater over the years. Their daughter, Sandra, had her First Communion Party at the old Casino. When she was a teenager, she worked in the pantry, and later at the Riverdeck. When The Bridel’s sons, Tim and James come home, the first place that they want to go is the Riverdeck. They said they always enjoy the awesome atmosphere!
Carolynn’s family loved Sweetwater Casino back in the day. It was her mother-in-law’s favorite place to dine. One year, their family cut down their Christmas tree at a nearby farm and then headed over to the Casino to eat and warm up. The food and atmosphere never disappointed. A lot has changed over 40 years, but Carolynn still feels the same way about the new Sweetwater Marina & Riverdeck. She loves spending time there!
As a child, Walt’s grandparents, uncle and parents all had houses on the Mullica River. His fondest memories growing up were on the river. He loved swimming, fishing & water skiing. To this day, he makes a point to visit every year and refresh his special memories. He says it was the happiest time of his life!
